Magna Computer Corp has been producing timeshare software since 1983. The software was born out of the fire of the front lines of a rising flame of independent timeshare resorts in the early 1980’s in the twentieth century, hard won knowledge by working at a resort while developing it.

Intimate knowledge of hardware and the burgeoning micro computer (now now as personal computers) scene and the entertainment video game world evolved into business applications but with know the engineering involved in crafting data processing (now IT) solutions for business.

Right from the beginning timeshare expert, Jim Forte, designed the timeshare development system to be modular. Back in DEC and mainframe world that our competitors used all software was one giant chunk of ugly. Jim being the prescient developer conceived a system comprised of modules which roughly emulated the business processes of a timeshare marketing, sales, administration and accounting systems.

Thus was born the modern day version of timeshare business processes. Lead gathering, tour booking, registration, sales processing, commissions, receivables, billing and property management that all competitors have emulated.

Precision Reporting

Precision reporting is the lifeblood of the modern resort marketer and finance managers. New competitors come along with “analytics” that are baby food numbers that sparkle like fools gold. The competent experienced manager know the correct numbers and Magna delivers that in spades. Actual its in hearts, clubs and diamonds as well. Four different reporting methods are used for each piece of information, just like accrual and cash methods in accounting systems, except the mind of a marketing and sales mangers things in more ways than just two.
